Joint Injections

Overview

Steroid injections can be a quick and effective treatment for soft tissue conditions, joint pain and inflammation, although the improvement is not permanent. They’re normally given as part of a wider rehabilitation programme which improves pain and mobility.

In Cotswold Private GP Service we inject knee joint, shoulder joint, trochanteric bursa (a fluid filled sac on the upper part of thigh which can get painful when you suffer with hip osteoarthritis), trigger finger and trigger thumb, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, Golfer’s elbow, plantar fasciitis and Morton’s neuroma.
