Attended the Cotswold Private GP practice today as a new patient and had genuinely a five star experience. The practice is well sign posted with parking outside. The waiting area is welcoming although I was quickly taken in to see Dr Junemani. The consultation was thoroughly, I didn’t feel rushed at any point and Dr Junemani really took the time to go through my past medical history and current needs in detail. I felt extremely well cared for - I will be returning as a repeat patient based on the great experience I have had today.Posted on Google![]()

I was worried about a spot/small lump on my back and could not get an appointment with my GP. I travel a lot for work and so it's hard for me to log on to my NHS surgery every morning and see what slots may be available. I made an appointment to see Dr Raina 48 hours ahead of time. The surgery is about 2 miles away and there is plenty of parking. Dr Raina was wonderful ... immediately put my at ease, examined the offending area and confirmed quickly that the spot was not sinister in any way. I was so grateful for her kind approach. Given I still had 20 mins of my appt left, ee had a chat about womens' health and menopausal related issues. I have since seen Dr Raina again for an 'MOT' and this was followed by a good and through report on my blood test results. Without doubt I shall see Dr Raina again ... it was wonderful to have a Dr's appointment and not be rushed and to feel listened to. Thank you Dr Raina!Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend Cotswold Private GP Service for Women's Health. Dr Raina and Dr Junemani were incredibly kind to me and so professional and knowledgeable. I had my Mirena coil replaced and it was pain and stress free. For anyone nervous about having coil or any other aspect of Women's Health I would book to see either one of these exceptional Doctors.Posted on Google![]()

I cannot recommend Dr Hosur highly enough. My mum saw her today and was absolutely delighted with the care, attention and understanding she received. She took Mum’s concerns seriously, listened carefully and put a treatment plan in place that has left Mum feeling very reassured and happy. It is such a relief to find a doctor who takes the time to listen, shows genuine compassion and makes you feel that you are in safe hands. The difference this has made to Mum’s confidence and peace of mind is enormous. Thank you, Dr Hosur, for your kindness, professionalism and for making Mum feel so well looked after. We are extremely grateful and would not hesitate to recommend you to others.Posted on Google![]()

The private GP did a, skilled, caring, quite painless knee aspiration and methyl prednisolone injection. I have had chronic Rheumatoid arthritis for three decades. I need Injections quite often. He drained the maximum amount of fluid: Followed by the injection. It was very painless compared with previous experiences from Specialist doctors. He put on my compression bandages and allowed me wait and rest, giving me a cup of tea and water to ensure everything was ok before I left. The price was good too. from TamaraPosted on Google![]()

MBBS, D’Ortho, FRCS, CSEM, CIDC
My journey in medicine began long before I joined the NHS over three decades ago. I was born and raised in India, where I studied medicine at GSVM Medical College in Kanpur and started my career in the private healthcare sector. I later moved to the UK, where I undertook further training in orthopaedics and earned my Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across England — from Newcastle upon Tyne and South Shields in the North East, to Bury St Edmunds in the East, and Burton upon Trent in the Midlands — before eventually settling in Cheltenham. These diverse experiences have given me a broad perspective on healthcare and a deep appreciation for the varied needs of different communities.
My commitment to ongoing learning has shaped my practice over the years. I hold additional qualifications in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry (Queen Mary University of London), and in Diabetes Care from Warwick Medical School. After many years working in hospital settings ,I transitioned to General Practice to serve the wider community.
In my role as a GP, I am particularly passionate about men’s health, cardiovascular health, and diabetes management. I take a holistic, evidence-based approach to care and enjoy supporting patients in making sustainable, long-term changes to improve their wellbeing. I remain deeply interested in prevention and health promotion and always strive to keep learning.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, travelling, and spending quality time with my wife and our two adult children. We love family holidays whenever our schedules align. I’m also a keen follower of cricket (more watching than playing these days!), and I stay active with walking and yoga — often in the company of our energetic and much-loved family dog.
I’m excited to begin this new chapter and look forward to welcoming you to the practice.
